Welcome from the FEFAC Secretary General

Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues,

I look forward to welcoming you to Antalya for the XXVII FEFAC Congress 2016, which this time will be held right after the 5th Global Feed and Food Congress. We are pleased that this provides you with an opportunity to not only join our FEFAC Congress but also combine this with attendance at the GFFC.

I know that our Turkish colleagues have worked very hard to prepare for you an inspiring and interesting visiting programme in their country and giving all delegates the chance to discover the dynamism of the members of Turkiyem-Bir, our Turkish Feed Manufacturers’ Association, who recently became associate member of FEFAC.

The programme for this FEFAC Congress will focus on the main theme: the “Societal Acceptance of livestock production in the EU”. We will look in particular at “New tools to measure and reduce environmental footprint of feed production”. The detailed programme will be available here in due time.

I would urge you to attend this FEFAC Congress, not only for the content but also for the opportunity to visit Turkey and meet our colleagues from that country.

Till we meet in Antalya.

Alexander Döring
Secretary General
European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation (FEFAC)
