Welcome address by FEFAC President
RESUME
Mr. Ruud Tijssens is President of FEFAC, the European Feed Manufacturers' Federation, a post he has held since his appointment in June 2013, and Director Corporate Affairs, Strategic R&D and CSR at Agrifirm Group. He is a member of the IFIF Board of Directors. Since 2011 he is active as Chairman of the Taskforce Sustainability of FEFAC, project leader on the transition of sustainable soy in the Netherlands and chairman of a large research consortium (Feed4Foodure) from the Dutch Feed Industry, Wageningen University and Research and the Dutch Government (the so-called Topsector project). Mr. Tijssens is 51 years old, married and is blessed with a son and a daughter.
