15 April 2016 Friday — Antalya/Istanbul to Kusadasi via Izmir and Pergamon

Meet at your hotel and transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Izmir. Drive to Bergama upon arrival. Visit the Acropolis of Pergamum in the morning. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Aesclepion, a sanctuary dedicated to the God of Aesclepius.
Drive to the hotel at the end of the day.
Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

16 April 2016 Saturday — Kusadasi to Antalya via Ephesus

Depart hotel for a full day tour of Ephesus. First, we visit the House of Virgin Mary and then ruins at the Hellenistic and Roman Ephesus. Following lunch, continue with the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and then finish the day at Ephesus Museum where we see artifacts recovered from the ancient city.
Drive to Izmir Airport for a flight back to Antalya in the evening, Transfer to your hotel in Antalya upon arrival.

14 April 2016 Thursday — Arrival in Istanbul

Your transfer from the airport to your hotel can be arranged separately. Overnight in Istanbul.

15 April 2016 Friday — Istanbul

Depart for a full day Bosphorus tour. We visit Spice (Egyptian) Bazaar where you can find spice shops selling varieties of spices, nuts, fruit and herbal teas and surely Turkish Delight. Walk across the road to the pier where we catch the ferry for a cruise on the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia. Enjoy the magnificent views on both sides. Also see Rumeli Fortress which was built by Sultan Mehmet the Conquerer as part of the preparations of his campaign to capture Istanbul. We land on the European side half way up the Bosphorus and drive to the restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, we drive across the Bosphorus over the Bosphorus Bridge to Camlica Hill from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of Istanbul. Then continue to Beylerbeyi Palace. Built around 1860s, this was the summer residence of the Imperial family. After the tour, free time near the palace for shopping or relaxing. Overnight in Istanbul.

16 April 2016 Saturday — Istanbul to Antalya

Following breakfast at your hotel, we first drive to the Hippodrome. Famous for chariot races, this Roman stadium dates back to the time of the Emperor Constantine the Great. Also see the Blue Mosque, probably the most impressive mosque in the world. Then visit the Hagia Sophia Museum which was originally built as a church then converted into a mosque after the conquest in the 15th C. One of the oldest ancient buildings on Earth, this is well worth a visit.

After lunch, visit Topkapı Palace, the imperial residence of the Ottomans. See the courtyards, a superb porcelain collection, the famous treasury, a collection of calligraphy, Sultan’s costumes and the Holy Relics of Prophet Muhammed. Finish the day at Grand Bazaar where thousands of small shops are located. Transfer back to the airport for the return flight to Antalya and transfer to your hotel in Antalya.

Dawn Ceremony at Anzac Cove followed by Australian Memorial Service at Lone Pine Cemetery or New Zealand Memorial Service at Chunuk Bair. Visit Troy in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Gallipolia area.

26 April 2016 — Drive back to Istanbul.

24 April 2016 Sunday — Pamukkale to Cappadocia via Konya

This morning, we drive to Cappadocia via Konya. Upon arrival, we visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana in Konya. Then we continue to Sultan Hani Caravanserai, a medieval inn built by Seljuk Turks for caravans traveling in the area. Arrive at Cappadocia in the early evening.
Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

25 April 2016 Monday — Cappadocia

A full day excursion of Cappadocia visiting Goreme Open Air Museum where you will find rock cut churches decorated with frescoes bearing biblical scenes. We continue to Uchisar and Avcilar Valleys, the unusual formations of fairy chimneys, columns of rock shaped by nature. Also visit Kaymakli Underground City. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

26 April 2016 Tuesday — Cappadocia to Antalya or Istanbul

Drive to Antalya over the Taurus Mountains.
